Prolongs Life

Longevity is a term that refers to long life. According to the research, the life span of human could possibly live - perhaps 120 years - under the best circumstances. However, only few can be lived to this age due to attacked by severe illness. Aging is a natural process of human life cycle and theory of TCM believes the main factor that caused aging is decline of Qi or essence in the kidneys. Hence, diet that strengthens the kidneys may helps prolonging life.
Internal Consumption: White Fungus Gingko Soup
Euryale Dioscorea Crepe
Prolongs Life Recipes
1) White Fungus Gingko Soup
Ingredients : a) 15g White Fungus () XueEr
    b) 1 egg white () DanBai
    c) 5 pcs gingko nut () YinXing
       
Seasoning : a) Some Rock Sugar to taste () BingTang
       
Method : 1) Soak white fungus overnight. Remove the tough bits before tearing into small pieces.
    2) Rinse gingko nut and blanch with boiling water. Set aside.
    3) Put white fungus and gingko buts in a pot with 800ml of water and bring to a boil. Turn low heat and cook for 30 minutes. Add in egg white and stir well. Cook for further 5 minutes.
    4) Season with some rock sugar and serve.
Benefits:
Regulating Qi, nourishing blood and lowering blood pressure, prolonging life.

Recommended:
Beneficial for people who is suffer from high blood pressure, weak body condition, insomnia and etc.
 
2) Euryale Dioscorea Crepe
Ingredients : a) 180g Euryale seed () QianShi
    b) 250g Flour () MianFen
    c) Some Fresh Dioscorea () XianShanYao
       
Seasoning : a) Some Sugar () Tang
       
Method : 1) Grind euryale seed into powder
    2) Rinse and peel dioscorea. Cut into small cubes. Place into blender and blend until smooth. Set aside
    3) Put all the ingredients and seasoning into a bowl with some water and combine well. Whisk the mixture until it is smooth.
    4) Preheat your pan on medium heat. Pour a little oil in the pan and swirl the pan so that the whole bottom is coated . Pour the mixture into the pan as you swirl the pan again.
    5) When the bottom of the crepe turn brown, flip it over with a spatula and brown the second side. Remove to a plate when done and repeat the process over and over
    6) Serve warm with jam or roll the crepe as a wrap with tuna and so on.
Benefits:
Euryale seeds are beneficial for elderly. It can nourishes the essence, strengtens the spleen and kidneys, which helps prolonging life.
