Blood is transformed from the essence
of food via the digestion and absorption of the spleen
and stomach. After its formation, blood circulates incessantly
throughout the body to moisten and provide nourishment
to the organs, bones, muscles, tendons and skin. Insufficient
of nutrients from food may lead to blood deficiency such
as symptoms: weak body, pale complexion, tinnitus, fatigue,
palpitation, blurred vision, dizziness and etc.
Trim the lily bulb with a small knife.
Rinse and soak in water.

Rinse gingko nuts, blanch with boiling
water and set aside.

Rinse black glutinous rice for a while
and set aside.

In a pot, put the black glutinous
rice with 1500ml of water and cook thoroughly

Add in gingko nut and fresh lily bulb
then cook for another 10 minutes.

Season with rock sugar.
Benefits:
This tonic nourishes the blood, strengthens
the Qi, warms the stomach and nourished
the kidney. Lily bulb nourishes the Yin,
moisturizers the lung, clears the mind and
clams the nerve. Gingko nuts aids in lowering
the serum cholesterol and enlarging the
coronary artery.
