Nail Care:

Healthy nails are pink, smooth and evenly shaped. The nail is made of a hard protein called keratin. Therefore, lack of protein intake may lead nail crack easily. According to the Chinese physicians, nails are reflecting the condition of the body. The root cause of nail disorders like splitting and flaky nails, white spots, vertical ridges or discoloration of the nail bed is an improper diet.

Foods For Healthy Nail:
Recommended to consume food that is rich in Protein, zinc, Calcium, Carbohydrate, Biotin, Fatty Acids, high in Vitamin A, B, C, E and etc in order to have healthy nail. For example, egg, nuts, seeds, grains, legumes, onions, leafy green vegetables like broccoli, seafood, fruits like avocado and orange, cereal, tea such as dandelion, alfalfa and so on are good source for beautifying the nails.
Internal Consumption: Asparagus With Cod Fish Roe
Stir-Fried French Bean
External Care: Lemon Glycerin

Internal - Nail Care
1) Asparagus with Cod fish Roe
Serving Size: 2-3 Persons
Ingredients : a) 200g Asparagus ()LuSun
    b) 30g Cod Fish Roe ()MingTaiZi
       
Seasonings : a) 1/2 tbsp lemon juice ()NingMengZhi
    b) 2 tbsp Mayonnaise ()MeiNaiZi
    c) Some Salt ()Yan
    d) Some Peppers ()HuJiao
       
Method : 1) Rinse Asparagus and cut into lengthwise. Bring water to a boil, scald french bean for 1 minute. Dish up.
    2) Mix well the fish roe with above seasonings.
    3) Combine well the asparagus with item(2).
 
Benefits:
Asparagus and cod fish roe are rich in Vitamin E, which helps beautifying the nails.
 
2) Stir-Fried French Bean
Serving Size: 2-3 Persons
Ingredients : a) 300g French Bean ()SiJiDou
    b) Some Dried Shrimp ()XiaMi
    c) 2 cloves garlic ()SuanMi
       
Seasoning : a) Salt to taste ()Yan
       
    1) Rinse garlic and dried chop finely.
Method : 2) Rinse frensh beans, cut into half lengthwise.
    3) Heat up 2 tbsp oil, saute garlic and dried shrimp until fragrant.
    4) Add in french bean and stir-fry for a short while. Pour in 1/2 bowl of water and stir-fry till dry. Dish up.


External - Nail Treatment
1) Lemon glycerin
Ingredients : a) 1/2 Lemon ()NingMeng
    b) 1/4 tsp glycerin ()GanYou
       
Method : 1) Squeeze Lemon to juice.
    2) Combine well lemon juice and glycerin.
    2) Apply to the nails and massage.
 

Benefits:
Lemon extract helps strengthen the nail, prevents nail crack and beautifying the nail. Glycerine has moisturizing properties, which prevents dehydrating, thus avoids fingertnail being dry.

Notes:
Put the remaining into a container and store into the fridge can last for 1 month.
