Body Whitening:

Internal Consumption: Pear And Ginseng Tea
External Care: Rose Angelica Root Bath
Internal - Body Whitening
1) Pear and Ginseng Tea
Serving Size: 1 Person
Ingredients : a) 1 Pear ()XueLi
    b) 3g Notoginseng ()TianQi
    c) 9g American Ginseng ()HuaQiShen
    d) 800ml water ()Shui
       
Method : 1) peel and remove core of pear then cut into pieces.
    2) Place the pieces of pear, notoginseng and American ginseng into a soup bowl with 800ml of water.
    3) Steam over high heat for anout an hour before serving.
 

Benefits:
Pear is rich in iron, calcium and Vitamin A, B and C. Frequent consumption will lead to softer and fairer skin. Long term consumption will improve a pallid face and enchance it with rosy and smooth complexion.

Notes:
a) People suffering from high fevers and sore throats are not advised to take this drink.

b) Treatment: Drink about 500ml-800ml daily for 30 days.

c) You can get the notoginseng and american ginseng at any Traditional Chinese Medicine's stores.


External - Whitening Bath
1) Rose Angelica Root Bath
Ingredients : a) 10 Fresh Rose Petals ()MeiGuiHua
    b) 20g Angelica Root ()BaiZhi
    c) 8-10 drops rose essential oil ()MeiGuiHuaJingYou
       
Method : 1) Put the angelica root in a muslin bag and tighten up.
    2) Boil water, steep bag for 20 minutes, then pour into tub and mix with cool water.
    3) Sprinkle the rose petals to the tub and add in rose essential oil.
    4) Soak for soothing and whitening your skin.
 

Benefits:
Angelica root aids regulating blood circulation and regenerate skin, it also helps to absorb the vitamin C from the roses and has whitening effects.
